My name is Jessica Brown. I love taking photos. I have been taking pictures since before I could talk, at least that is what my parents tell me.I am a staff photographer for the Barrow Journal, I have also been published with articles, and photos, for TB Sports and More magazine, and have been published in other papers as well. I have won 41 various awards for photography. I like to shoot images that are normally tighter than many photographers. I especially like to convey the emotion of the moment through facial expressions or through the eyes. This is true whether it is sporting events or through the eyes of animals. I placed 3rd in the Canon " Why do you Love football" contest this year. Below is the photo. I feel very honored to have been selected as a finalist again and even more honored to have placed 3rd out of over 10,000 photos that were submitted. I would also like to think Abby Henry for striking that almost classic pose. A special thanks to all those who voted and supported me as well.
